Jeff has 34 years experience as a piano technician. He fulfilled his apprenticeship with BB Whitehouse in 1978 and is an accredited member of the Australasian Piano Tuners and Technicians Association (APTTA) and the Piano Tuners and Technicians Guild of Queensland Inc. (PTTGQ). To tune your piano Jeff uses a combination of aural tuning with the enhancement of computer technology – the Reyburn CyberTuner (www.reyburn.com).
Keeping up to date with advances in technical and tuning knowledge, such as the CyberTuner, is most important. Consequently, Jeff has attended seminars and master workshops in Australia and the U.S.A. with technicians from Steinway, Kawai and Yamaha, as well as with individual technicians who are specialists within the tuning industry. For Jeff to keep informed is the key to having your piano sound the best that it possibly can.
